Terms and Conditions
 
Staging
  • The client is responsible for ensuring that the property is clean and free of dirt and debris before the installation phase begins. If ROI HomeServices stagers arrive at the scheduled time of installation and the property is not clean and free of debris, the client may be subject to a cleaning and/or rescheduling fee.
  • ROI HomeServices LLC reserves the right to remove all staging inventory before the seller moves out his/her belongings (in owner-occupied homes) and before the seller turns over keys to the new owner.
  • ROI HomeServices LLC shall receive at least one week’s notice to terminate the rental agreement and uninstall inventory.
  • The client is responsible for leaving all inventory in its place at all times. Please do not group staging inventory at the front door or in each room in anticipation of inventory removal. ROI HomeServices LLC will fully install and fully uninstall all pieces.
  • If items are lost, stolen or broken, the client is responsible for the replacement cost of those items.
  • ROI HomeServices LLC reserves the right to enter the house at any time from the date of installation to the date of removal. If it is an owner-occupied home, ROI HomeServices LLC must give at least 24 hours notice and schedule an appointment time with the client to do so.
  • We reserve the right to use before and after interior photos not containing images of people in any and all ROI HomeServices LLC marketing, including our website. To request that ROI HomeServices LLC not use photos of your home in marketing, please attach a written and signed letter stating your request to this contract. ROI HomeServices LLC will never publish names or addresses of clients.
  • Estimated costs reflect the scope of work as it may be seen on the estimate date. If it becomes apparent that for any reason more work is necessary for a successful sale of the home, ROI HomeServices LLC will obtain approval of adjusted costs from the client before additional work commences.
  • ROI HomeServices has a strong rate of success in helping homes sell faster, for more money. Because our services are limited by market conditions, pricing, and the homeowner’s living situation, we cannot quantify the predicted results of our recommendations. We will gladly provide multiple references of satisfied clients who have successfully maximized their Return On Investment.
 
Decorating
  • Consultation is billed at an hourly rate or a project rate, depending on the scope of the project.  Hourly rates apply to all time incurred by ROI HomeServices LLC in association with the client’s project. Consultation costs are invoiced and due in full at the time of service.
  • ROI Home Services LLC invoices purchasing at a cost plus rate. Items are invoiced and due in full at the time of purchase.
  • The client is responsible for final approval or disapproval of all items purchased.  Off-the-shelf items must be approved or disapproved within 30 days of purchase.
  • Custom-ordered pieces may not be returned or exchanged and are subject to the return policy of the manufacturer. Written approval must be given before custom pieces are ordered.
  • Employees of ROI HomeServices LLC act as consultants to help guide clients toward achieving their own goals for their home. The client is responsible for articulating their goals and approving or disapproving all items at the time of purchase. Therefore, ROI HomeServices LLC and its employees are not responsible for the client’s like or dislike of the final product of the project.
  • Due to the nature of ROI HomeServices LLC Decorating division as a consultative service, billable hours are not subject to refund.
 
Handyman
  • Estimated costs reflect the scope of work as it may be seen on the estimate date. If it becomes apparent that for any reason more work is necessary for the successful conclusion of the project, ROI HomeServices LLC will obtain approval of adjusted costs from the client before additional work commences. If a project cannot be completed due to circumstances unforeseen by ROI HomeServices LLC at the time of estimation, the client is responsible for any work completed at the time of termination.
  • ROI HomeServices LLC is not responsible for conditions or circumstances unknown at the estimate date.
  • ROI HomeServices LLC is not responsible for any damage to the property or lost or stolen items.
